This is the firepot, this is where the mountainous volcano of coal/charcoal/coke will sit and burn, air is forced through the hole in the bottom through the custom cut and drilled tuyere to feed into the flame.

The burning matter needs lots of air to burn at peak efficiency so that when you put material into the flame it heats. This is one piece of a large forge-table I built with a new friend to get started into blacksmithing.

We used a plasma cutter to cut the circular design, angle grinder and flap wheel for the edges and a heavy metal drill bit to handle the holes.
