a good fast shooting 5.56 rifle is best, at least in Misery. Still have to dump a whole mag or two into the things though....

lol, not if you hunt and sell everything like i do. I'm constantly fighting either bandits or mercenaries, also i Duty hates me so i get in firefights with them too. Either way, hunting a bunch of animals with buckshot then cooking the meat and selling is pretty profitable! You actually get more money back if you buy bulk cooking fuel too.
