Daily Doodle 20- Character Design (Arnav Aquinas)
1 headshot and many more to come of the character for my creature design class. He's of my "Nimrahj" cat-like monsters, only an aquatic form. My instructors were very pleased with the design. These guys have a horn, -not a tusk-(but still inspired by that of a narwhal) that conducts an electrical current like electric eels.
Hes going to look half cat, a bit of fish, and whale. More or less.
Why do I always do felids for school projects? Because its easy for me, and I get the work done faster. Ill draw OTHER THINGS THAN CATS in the summer when I have more friggen time.

looks great, so many details and interesting features! but still, I would place the horn a bit more backwards than inbetween the eyes. on top of the cranium the skull would be more stable, and a horn this length, especially underwater, might place a lot of strain onto the bone structure.
