CLOSED adopt design 1- pengerine griff
(get it lol i-it looks like it's peregrine but it's a penguin wolverine sorta thing a.... a pengerine.....)
This design is up for auction until Sunday night, May 29th, at 10pm EST. The starting minimum bid is $5, and you may bid in any full dollar increments from there. I accept PayPal only, and if payment is not secured within 24 hours of closing the auction, the design will go to the second highest bidder. Once you own the design, you may change it any way you want, I'd love to see art of the critter but it's all yours to do with as you please. I just request you do not resell my designs. It's nice to get linked back and credited, but I'm not too intense about that, so long as if the subject comes up I receive credit. Whoever wins this design will also receive the full resolution, 300 DPI *.png image file of this picture via email.
Please comment to place bids, I will respond to the highest bidders as time permits to alert them of a higher bid placed, but I can't promise I'll have time to always immediately do so, so you may want to keep an eye on bids.
Thanks, and I hope someone picks up this guy and gives him a good home, so to speak!!

hmm yeah i'm just not entirely sure about the logistics of reselling and how it affects artists, however speaking to my gf it seems like it'd be okay so long as you don't charge more than you paid for..? I understand though being in a tight spot financially-- I will say, I'll soon have quite a bit more adopts up and I'm considering changing them after this to be resellable, just again not for more than they're paid.
Yea, that makes sense. I don't personally buy ones with selling limitations on them generally, not because I aim to resell them, but because if I found I didn't grow attached to the character, there's no way I'd remember in six months or a year or two how much I had paid for them originally and I'd hate to get into that kind of negative territory by accident, and also because I'd likely have done art of the character already. Nothing personal! It just isn't how I personally do things. :)
You have lovely work, though, and I'm sure with a bit of exposure your adopts will sell for decent prices. This one's worth more than $10 for sure, it's just a matter of finding the crowd that can afford it at the time.

Thank you for being understanding, but also for telling me the reasons why that would be a more feasible rule to adoptables. I haven't done these in a few years, and since I'm just starting to post my art again I'm still kind of... learning the ropes! I want to keep the points you made in mind, as I would like my adoptables to be as fair for everyone as possible. Again, thank you for this learning experience, I'm actually much more amiable to the idea of reselling now that I understand better what people may feel better about, rulewise. Ahh sorry to ramble on, thank you for the compliments, and I do hope you continue to enjoy my art as much as I enjoy creating and sharing it!! Getting feedback is honestly the biggest compliment to me, I appreciate you taking the time to tell me your thoughts.
