My character in a stance during battle. Currently it is just line art but will get colored soon. The blade is in normal rapier mode and neither extended nor has its light saber effect thingy on. Something like that will come later in a major battle and not a minor confrontation.

Did you know that if I click on the link it brings me to a Youtube video of RickRoll'D like in the Youtube video of Arby n' the Chief in the episode where Master Chief tricks The Arbitrator off the XBOX 360 to the computer claiming a link to a sample video of Halo Wars? When The Arbitrator clicked on the link the Youtube video RickRoll'D came up. Is this a glitch or a good joke, aye? Your character is simmilar for this reason I like very much your character but the first, is an anthro Peregrine Falcon.
The fencing I am basing my character on is a combination of Raphael and Amy from Soul Caliber 4 (whom I play often), and King from Kamen Rider Kiva.
When the sword changes into its secondary style which is like a bladed light saber whip (and the style can rapidly and fluidly change style during combat) the fighting techniques is similar to the combination of Ivy from Soul Caliber 4, the Prince from Prince of Persia Two Thrones and Kratos of God of War 3.
I am unsure as to how to do animated gifs.
Kyne looks like a super cool character with a decent background. My character, however, lives in an alternate Earth where it is the modern era with much of the technology 250 years ahead of us. Culture is basically the same. And the countries that exist are unlike ours in that many of the ancient civilizations never really died out but changed size and location and importance (alternate history). And the notion of myth, magic and fantasy is very much real but mixed with the worlds modern technology (imagine a wizard using a computer in his library for example). Many of the creatures of myth and legend and other magical creatures we see in legend are real and civilized and live among humans in daily life in harmony (sorta like the creatures in the second seasons of Shinzo or Monster Rancher).
Also, my character is an American (or alternate America called The United Kingdoms of America in this sense of plot and world) from the Imperial Kingdom of Minnesota. He is an anthro Eagle from a race of legend with completely white feathers. He is a knight in training and is at a university to receive that training (yes he is getting a degree as a knight). He is nearing completion for his degree in knighthood, with a minor in management information systems, and is on a year long quest of a knightly pilgrimage to cap his degree. And there is much else to his story that is a bit much to say here so I may end here.
