+fave for cute skunkie...
+fave (MANY TIMES OVER!!!) for ELO, and the first song (not counting Prologue) off the best album they ever put out ("Time")- and I'm old enough to have been around when their first US single was released- "Roll Over Beethoven" in '73- and I've been following them since. :)
(I've been on a "Time" kick lately, so this is, shall we say, very much..."Time"-ly. ;) )

And for added fun, a couple YouTube vids I HIGHLY recommend, if you haven't seen them- or even if you have! :)
Prologue/Twilight/Yours Truly, 2095 set to Osamu Tezuka's "Metropolis":

The "infamous" DAICON IV animation- First part os Kitaro, second part is...Prologue/Twilight by ELO...in full STEREO:

Actually, I saw the Metropolis video at Otakon in... '03 I think it was? It was in the AMV contest and it was spectacular.
And the Daicon animation is very much a favorite of mine too. <3 Especially since I'm a fan of Misty May, who the bunnygirl would later inspire. ;D

Might be ironic to say, but I'm not into anime, but I knew of the DAICON IV animation as that "Japanese animated video set to Twilight" that had been rumoured about for many years. There's an updated version for the more recent Densha Otakon conventions of the last 3-5 years. (Densha Otakon continued where DAICON left off in the '80s.)
Just that, yes, these are great videos for Twilight. :)

(who found that the first group to hit on the whole "Time" sound since "Time" was Infected Mushroom's "Cities of the Future"... "Time" was well ahead of its, well...time. :) )

*LOL!* Well, basically ELO has always been Jeff Lynne's "baby", and by the last album they did, it was pretty much JUST him with a bunch of session musicians and guests. He's kind of...difficult ; )
So jokingly, Puppers and I call ELO "The Jeff Lynne Experience", because it fits his over-inflated self importance. Still enjoy all the music, though...don't get me wrong. ; )

Oooh, someone ELSE who sees Mr. Lynne the same way I do... :) I love ELO- always have, always will- but it has always been more than just Jeff Lynne, yet he made it so that he gives very little acknowledgment to the rest of the members (hence the "spat" with Bev Bevan and his ELO Part 2, now known as The Orchestra (without Bevan), but it also points something else out- Whereas ELO was actually both a carrot and side project for The Move, it needs to be mentioned that Lynne couldn't achieve his dream with the OTHER band that was specifically created for him- The Idle Race. Why? He needed the right musicians with a similar vision. He got it with Bev Bevan, Mik Kaminski, Kelly Groucutt, Mike D'Albequerque, Richard Tandy and Louis Clark. With the slow collapse of ELO during and after the making of "Time", only Richard Tandy remained loyal to Lynne.
Then came the lawsuits.
Sorry for the history lesson, but yes, Lynne's oversized ego is a bit of a raw nerve with me, and I'm just glad I'm not the only one. :) That's why "Zoom" failed, BTW.
At least there are bands out there keeping the Light on- the aforementioned Orchestra, as well as Old Future Crash (Spain), AlternativA (Netherlands), and others...all over the world. :)
