I'm kind of a newb when it comes to 40k. I only bought Dawn of War Gold Edition a few months ago. Never played the classic. Gotta say, it's a fricken' awesome universe/setting.

Certainly...well, tell you what...
40k is all cool, but the real game runs a little different than Dawn of War. So basically you have to watch out that your enemy doesn't have any strong indirect firing weaponry otherwise you can set the Land Raider up to be "the fire magnet" ...here's a prity good comic about 40k. It's a bit extreme on the negative parts, though everything he puts in has happend to me too

its a fact, the raiders are giant rolling targets. im a huge fan of thier design, love how they look, but thier acctuall armor scores dont reflect thier power in the storys. this is a tank that can supposedly be dropped from orbit and land ready to fight. 14 armor? kids stuff. fantastic paint job, dood

Certainly, in combat they're just about as useful as any other marine...one could just write "shoot me" on the front door ^^

What you see here is a Land Raider Crusader, out as new model and now not only available to Black Templars but to all Space Marine armies...utilizes 3 twinlinked Bolters on the sponsons and a twin linked chain gun in the front tyranid killer^3
