Breakthrough - The Game
The title isn't a joke, actually. I'm in a class called Game Design - now Advanced Game Design - in my school. We're in the last like.. 2 days of school right now, so I've finally called this age-old project done.
We were assigned to make our own sort of 2d game back in November or October or so. So, I decided, why not make it Breakthrough themed? Initially there was going to be an actual story about Rusk dreaming this and waking up as if from a nightmare, then huddling closer to Tyg's side and mumbling about his worries. But I never got around to that in light of recent events, so here we go!
There are ten levels. Your goal is to get to the exit. You have a few tools at your disposal; gliding, breathing a fireball, and running. Your health among the previously mentioned things can be upgraded using golden crystals scattered throughout the levels. Blue crystals refill your glide (green) bar. The singular green crystal in the end refills your health (red) bar. Do not get touched by the rockfall or the shadow!
Tell me if you beat it - I've been the only one who can even beat it so far, nevermind make it to the end without dying.
If there are bugs, I'm sorry - I won't be able to access my project files after tomorrow but I weeded out everything I possibly could. Sometimes the loading screen gets stuck no matter what, unfortunately, so you just have to reload the page and replay.

I created all animations and graphics. Sounds are either stock sounds or GameSalad's education sounds.

It only took me about 45 minutes though... Guess I've been playing too much platformers and flash games in my childhood <.< *cough* 400 Seconds in Multitask *cough* :P
