Then again, I've always been a fan of the ABAB CDCD style of rhyme rather than AABB CCDD.

Robotnik was awesome, he was completely heartless, sneaky, underhanded, and just all out evil.

Well Dr. Robotnik is the original for me too and I usually refer to him as that. I haven't really watched Satam, but I've read a bit over 100 issues of archie comics and I think he's not like he used to be when he was still called Dr. Robotnik.

I could bet though that one of my friends wouldn't know who I'm talking about if I talked about Dr. Robotnik as he hasn't read the comics nor watched the cartoon (only Sonic X though, but o well...) and doesn't really like the older games so he's pretty much stuck with Eggman.

How sad. Things like this always seem to happen with villains too.

Robotnik. He was always my favorite villain. When I was a kid, I always liked the villains more than the heroes.

Whenever I watch those old episodes I can't help but root for that nefarious, black hearted, genius.

Hell yeah, I ALWAYS wanted the bad guys to come out on top. I loved it when their plans went well or some such. To this day I still do, when I go see a monster movie I always want the monster to come out on top, for the world to be conquered.

YES! I'm sick and tired of seeing the good guys always win.

I don't know whether its coincidence or not, but Robotnik translates loosely from Czech into "slave master". Much more fitting in my opinion as well.

heh heh clever. SatAM ruled! Those who know him as "Robotnik" are easily identified as old-school Sonic fans. You know, the fans who were around for the 16-bit games and the SatAM series, which I believe should've been the direction the series continued on. Not the Sonic X wold kids know today.
