I totally forgot there where second story houses in this game, (or are there...? seeing how its in a constant state of poverty. I play it just as often as I update my devart page, and they both have e-cockroaches.

Oh, no, that's just the pattern on the wallpaper she was using at the time (I think it is called "Cityscape Wall".) All of the animals live in one room, single floor houses.

It's fun for a year or so, then it gets kind of repetitious and feels like a second job. There's a Wii version of it coming out soon!

^_^ Awesome. Whitney is one of my favorite characters from AC. Another was Freya, from the GC version; I can't wait for City Folk to come out.

Well, I didn't play the original Gamecube version, so the DS one (Wild World) was my first exposure. That said, I do believe portable is the way to go for this game, since it really is nothing more than a time-waster.

It kept me engrossed for a year, nonetheless, and inspired a lot of art. The upcoming Wii version (is it out yet?) should be better, if refinements between the Gamecube->DS versions continue, however I don't think I'll be picking it up any time soon. Once really is enough to experience this game.

Oh, and it's a ton better if you have friends. Check something like http://animalxing.com/index.php if you can't find any, or just post AC art here and see who responds to it. (:=

I love Animal Crossing.
Whitney's one of my favorites, next to Elmer and Roscoe.

It's a great game. I wish Nintendo had incorporated a little different gameplay in the one for the Wii, though. I played the DS version for a year or so, and didn't want to do it all over again on the Wii. Lack of portability hurt, too. (Being able to pull virtual weeds while waiting somewhere = win. (:= )

Ah, well, I have Wild World. :)
My DS is around here somewhere, I lost it and haven't played it for a few months or so Dx

But I've got an Action Replay that can either remove all the weeds completely, or turn them into bells.
