Brief History - Ryanith used to be a street dancer in a small village on the sea coast. Her partner and only friend, a badger named Lily, would pickpocket the audience while Rya danced for them. One night Lily was caught while stealing from an audience member, a pirate by the name of Lucas. Lucas's captain, Arcadia, who was also watching, wanted to punish Lily for theft. In a desperate attempt to protect her friend, Rya offered herself to service Arcadia's ship. Arcadia agreed, and Rya became a pirate. At first she was bitter about her job, but soon grew to love the sea and her crewmates. She found a passion for cooking fish. After excelling in her duties and proving herself and her loyalty again and again to her caption, her skills made her surpass her crewmates in rank, becoming nearly as important and influential as Arcadia herself, at the rank of Quarter Master. Rya can't see herself leaving the Penumbra anytime soon.
