I just noticed it would perhaps be better if either the dish or the door in the background would have a different colour. There is a little too less contrast in my opinion that makes it hard to recognise the dish's contours.

Hm... I wonder what place Jolty would take in my pokemon noir world. I could imagine him as some kind of dubious café/night club owner with a lot of crime (money laundering/ illegal gambling/ illegal pokemon battles to the death) going on in the back-rooms or the powerful owner of a big pastries factory selling to cafés all over Johto, of course you would need some human stooge for the official paperworks... ^^
