I was originally going to title this piece “Real women wear practical armor” but…I decided not to be a smartass (today). It just tickles me seeing females in skimpy armor, particularly “platekini,” or the plate armor in MMOs and video games that offers NO protection at all just to appease the male fanbase. I don’t know about the rest of you ladies, but in a fight, I want to be covered up as much as possible- not have my breasts, legs, and abs exposed hoping my foes will be so distracted by my jiggling boobs or curvy hips they won’t kill me! Haha. Gotta love fantasy armor logic.

Anyway, while I still have a bit of backlogged commissions to upload to my gallery, I got this epic piece yesterday and thought it was a fitting way to end the week: Whisper preparing to charge into battle like a real warrior and take down anyone that stands in her way.

I want to give a huge thanks to guarazu for this brilliant piece! Not only is the armor badass, but the attention to detail [those spikes on her armor will poke your eyes and limbs out!], and weapon make for a woman you just don’t want to mess with. Plus she’s got a blazing sword- flaming weapons make everything 50% deadlier better

…and did I mention she’s actually covered up and wearing ‘real’ armor? Yeah, definitely worth repeating because I love it~
