The lights flickered, then finally came back on, Celeste screamed, looking at the stairwell. At the top of the stairs was an enormous beast. No eyes, translucent skin, just muscle and bone, all stiched up, yet there it stood. It's ears perked, its nose twitching ever so slightly.
"What is it?" She whimpered.
"Marnerath, a hellhound from my demension." Azarah whispered.
Slowly Marnerath's tongue slid out of it's lipless mouth. The tongue was forked with spikes coming out the tips. It flicked the tongue a couple times, then came foreward.
