She was found by Ryu as a Pegasus and became a beloved friend during the early parts of Ryu's banishment and became very special to him. She changed into a full person and since became a powerful warrior and a great lover to Ryu.

Many years have passed since then and Shadowstyx has not seen her Master at all, though she thinks of him constantly. She is formidable, loyal and caring just like he is.
