With some spare time on my hands, I've sketched out some the idea of using different species for different references for different possible characters. For example, I seem to have a spectrum of colors for the female characters with different spiders so I thought I could use some male characters with other types as well like servants or security; retaining a orange color coding like Victor's color scheme with his skin/clothes. For the Trapdoor Spider, I thought he could be a gardener (or even an assassin) with a tarp-like camouflage and the Jumping Spider (or Orb Weaver) could be a butler or infantry units (like an army of them). With the Tarantula, I thought with the hulking size that tends to associate with the species, I could use that as a reference for a bulky bodyguard (or sentry) in commoner attire and gruff; each of these in a Victorian dress code (I blame Black Butler).
The head-shot is another idea in which I thought the female (or even male) characters would undergo an "ugly" appearance when angry or threatened. As for the Web "stage," I thought I could use Victor's human-guise for a menacing, chaotic effect with each 'facet' reflecting some disastrous event or character (like premonition); like the whole image of the chaotic effect being a spider's web rather than the flapping of a butterfly's wings.
Any suggestions or comments?
