This was one of my favorites from my trip to the zoo. Such cool enrichment, they had deer antlers too(you can see the big black guy playing with an antler in the link below).
Taken at the Denver Zoo.
Went up for my Exhibit Design class. Wooo, zoo on Valentines day. It was a free day too, so it was crowded even though it was cold.
Either way, we had to wonder the zoo answering questions about the exhibits and signs around the zoo.
Took all day but was pretty interesting. Nothing beats classes where labs force you to wonder the zoo taking pictures of beasties. <3
This is the only one I'm posting here, you can see the around 300 pictures from today here: http://mutantskunk.com/photos/Zoos/.....erZooVDAY2009/
A lot of sign photos because she wanted us to pay special attention to signs(we'll be making our own for her class soon).

Did Blastdav ever tell you about our trip to the zoo with Veris? Blastdav revealed how very evil he is.
One such example thereof: At the bear exhibit, one bear was snoozing up front, belly-up. A tram of yard-apes & their mommies & grandparents cruised by us, with the mommies all cooing, "Wook, honey! Da bears is SWEEEEEPING!"
And as the tram buzzed on by, Blastdav said, very matter of factly, "It's not sleeping; it's DEAD." I about peed my pants from laughing.

...Draconic evil is catching.
