Creepy! I remember having a few similar experiences as a kid too, and looking back on it...so mysterious, curious, and scary as hell!
Could be paranormal or dreams, but could have also been someone trying to break in. Who knows though; I still wake up and hear stuff, and wonder if it's real or just my imagination.

like ive already said i do have a rather creepy story from back home when i lived in the Ural Mountains near the Dyatlov Pass when i was younger, every night it seemed like something was going on there mysterious glowing orbs in the sky and occasionally strange short men with big eyes who wore nothing in the intense cold of the area although the anomalies werent very common but they were frequent
maddened dreams still could be a part to things I've studied. I've read many books. If your dreams have feelings of smothering, people doing things to your body, or bright white lights I'd worry, if not, not so much. This smacks of alien abduction. But then again there are more strange things out there that can be fully understood.
