Only thing I don't like about that hillside is the evidence of clear-cut forestry. Twould have been really nice if they had left that be.

Would not have noticed actually hadn't you pointed it out. Still not sure where your saying the evedence is, but it still looks nice.

Its the large white swath on the mountain. White of snow yes, but also of snow on bare ground not trees.

I wish I could commit on everything, Something tells me you know something photography^^ I like this alot, Its happy^^ Are you into HDR some like it or just hate it.. I like to play with it. I been working on photography all my life but it was not until 4 years ago that I just went nuts , I enjoy it too much. I am not working now o-well 34 and living with dad^^ so I took some classes and that help alot.

This particular shot isn't an HDR, though I'm working on some right now that are in that style. This gets a similar feel to the HDR shots due to me using camera RAW or olympus's format CRW. I've sold works in the past, and have done some contract work in my area, unfortunately business and such work hasn't panned out and I'm stuck in a dead-end retail job.

As for attending AC, whew, thats way on the wrong coast, and too expensive for me to accomplish at this time frame. Right now I'm saving to get my truck overhauled, just need another thousand or so and it will be road-trip ready yet again. About two more paychecks and I'll be set to get it all fixed up. Hopefully by then the weather will have improved enough to actually take more pictures.

About the only convention I might make it out to is Rainfurrest, though that will be a stretch. That one is somewhat-local to me

Hello ^^ do you use photomatrix its like one of the best for hdr then put into CS_ . I know money is a pain , I am also out of work I would love to try and do weddings but I need to do it with some one thats done it before because if you mess up a wedding omg

anyway I was talking about photomatrix its like $99 to get it. If you would like to get it I have the ID and KEY and you will have it for free ^^ you just need to down load it and u also get all the new updates. anyway if you have it well I tried^^ well for some reason I thought u lived in OH o well I tried^^ well I hope everything goes well with your truck. ^__^ have a happy =) PS.. this will be my first con and I am like yes i will go then no yes no ect... I've tried Photomatrix, and eh, while it is indeed very easy to work with its not quite something in my style range just yet. Photoshop has a wonderful HDR import ability as-well and I've thus far seen better results with Photoshop. As for the offer of the program ID and Key, I rather prefer my software to be legit. The idea is appreciated but not necessary at this time. All of my software is of legitimate origins, and has appropriate license codes. I've been the Photoshop upgrade program since the version 3 release, and have actively used the program since Photoshop 1.5 beta edition, so I've been in that realm awhile. As for why I'm still using lowly CS2, I simply saw no further need to keep upgrading. This version does all I need, and I'm very comfortable with its use. Perhaps if something in the future jumps out and demands my attention of another version, I may look into it then.

As for my location, well yes, a few furs have had me confused with the other Washington, that of D.C. but no, I'm in Washington State, opposite side of the country!

My financial priorities run like so: 1. Bills and living expenses, 2. have some bounce back savings/emergency fund. 3. Get truck fixed. 4. Purchase a good tripod and crane arrangement, perhaps a Cam 1 setup from cameracranes.us

Hello there sorry I have not been around, We had a lot of trees cut down around the house, OMG they were big not big but BIG BIG and tall .. so I have to be getting up in the Am work to pm and go to bed, we are almost done. Thats a cool link I never seen anything like that , I have seen the ones they use for the news some times you get a quick look at it they are so cool that's for video only. I don't even want to know how much.. $2500 or $1500 I just need a good tripod I am sick of the $40 to $80 dollar pods I broke 3 already and even the $80 ones they don't hold the camera tight I am guessing I will have to pay $199 to 250 for a good one..

That's cool I respect you don't want the software some one gave it to me the code so i was like why not^^ I payed 600 for CS3 then another 299 for up grade to CS4 , well you can do more with matrix I cant do nothing with it in cs4 its puts raw and jpg file together to make a hdr but you dont have the light effect or anything well I dont have CS4 extended You live all the way over there and up. ant it cold, but going to Canada must be cool^^. During Highschool, those many years ago, I interned with a local TV station and acted as a camera person carrying those heavy Ikegami shoulder cameras and equipment. Pro grade stuff not she stuff I play with mind you. I once operated a boom camera system for some local government TV program and I fell in love with its configuration and smooth operation. It effectively eliminates any camera shake, and makes panning and vari-angle shots absolutely a dream. And while I'd use this mostly for video work, it also works well for still photography as-well especially for those trick shots that look as if you used a helicopter, or some other means of oddity. The camera crane designs are relatively inexpensive, in comparision to say a new camera, they are actually under such a price range. Since my recent acquisition of a nearly new Olympus E-10, I've decided to put my camera funding toward something like a camera boom arrangement. Or I may build one myself, (I'm still pricing that out)
