Almost skipped over this one! This one's a bit older, but it's of a character of mine who is also a dick (just like Socket) but predates Socket.

Basil is the king of a kingdom near the Nathair Oldwoods called the Coluber kingdom. Unlike Scarlett, Basil has more than a few screws loose, but in such a way that he's more of a cold, calculated tyrant than an idiot king. He's started many a war to expand his territory, has excellent tactical skills, and is more than fit for battle, himself. Unfortunately for him, Scarlett's kingdom is far too large for him to steamroll, or even come close to winning against. Despite his lack of diplomatic skills, he finds himself in the unique position of associate to the oversized queen, who hates him as much as he hates her. Scarlett, despite being guaranteed a win against his kingdom, refuses to fight simply due to the casualties she would suffer in the process, even if she'd not get hurt, herself. Poor Basil, being a huge dick and forced to be nice.
