I appear to be in this horrible cycle whereby every time I draw my Glace, he gets a little bigger, this can only be the logical conclusion of that..!

More likely it was just some practice of larger sizes, bleh!

It's a very open rule of mine that no matter how big Jokulin gets, his dangles must ALWAYS touch the floor somehow!

Yes, they absolutely do! They tend to follow the rule of always being large enough to touch the floor somehow, containing a lot more spongey flesh in them than simple hair. Think if somebodies ears could get fat for example!
