Ikr? We have one in my park, and it comes around all the time. But usually one of the stray cats spooks it, and it sprays undrneath my bedroom window! That's eye-opening in the middle of the night! That's for sure! Usually skunk musk doesn't bother me, but when it comes in a concentrated stream, directly under the open window? Yikes! Look out! LOL I love how patient skunks usually are, though. I came across one in the woods, one evening, as I was heading back home, from a hike, and we looked at each other... I told it to go one way, and it said I'd go the other, and there was no problem. Such quiet and beautiful creatures... and so misunderstood... I'm always sad when I see one in the road... I think people hit them on purpose, around here... jerks!

Yeah normally skunks smell don't bother me at all.
But when it's literally right under my nose for a long period of time it actually makes me kind of nauseous.

I have came close encounters with many skunks, but I was usually half asleep.
Like I was in bed when I heard rustling outside, checked and was face to face. I panicked.
Then there was this huuuge white skunk in my friends barn. He was intimidating lol. That's when I was little though haha.
