Yes, this is the result of a series of random events that were thrown in our path and resulted in awesomeness.

The night before, we had watched a youtube video of the show "Who's Line is it Anyway?" (the U.S. version with Drew Carrey) and were greatly amused by his "I'm Sparticus" line which, when spoken like Carol Channing (as Ryan is apt to do) sounds like "I'm Spjarticus!".

This morning, after returning from grocery shopping, Skadjer related a strange experience he had while at the market - apparently, while walking down an isle, and older lady in a powered shopping cart turn in, blocking his path. Thinking to go around the long way, he turned to exit the isle from the other end, only to have another old lady on a powered cart turn into the isle. So there he was, trapped in the center of the isle as two old ladies closed in on either side, and he related to us the extreme amount of personal fortitude it took to not bust out laughing as he imagined these two elderly cart riders holding jousting sticks. To which I replied: "I can just see them now, riding down the isle toward one another screaming, 'I'm Spjarticus!'"

I had to be drawn...

I drew Skadjer and his buddy Steeplechase (cringing inside the basket), and he drew an anthro version of myself, then joined them in the epic battle you see in the submission above.

And of course, I'm Spjarticus!
