Done for  Banka on FA as my half of a trade.
So I was in my Exhibit Design class and my teacher was discussing the signs we have to make in class. Basically we have to make a sign on a particular animal from a particular region that would fir for a zoo.
So she was discussing shaped signs and says a common idea is to do the sign in the shape of your animals home.
Well she used the idea "the shape of Africa if your animal was a lion."
I was like.. YES! I so need to draw a lion. So when I had the time after I got home I started drawing. So yea.. idea theft from my teacher.
I'm so proud of this, I'm working on making the characters more closely resemble the actual animals they are with face structure. I think I did pretty well. XD.
I cheated and traced the outline of Africa off a map. NMo way I'd be able to make it look that nice drawing it freehand.
Uhm... I used a green for the background to fit into a Savanna theme because.. lioness.
I think that's it. I'm proud of this. XD
