hey i had a couple of questions, good photo by the way, if you say for practice.
what did you use to make the photo and how did you use it?

I used Paint Tool SAI. It's a program you can get a free trail of online if you google it, and it's pretty easy to use. :3

...well actually im glad you brought that up, i could use a few pointers on how it works, i have it but since iv only been exposed to generic paint on the computer i dont know much of the new options and ways of manipulating a photo... could you, that is if you don;t mind, giving me a few pointers? i could really use the help, owever if you just learned on the way then just say so. i guess to an extent i should learn myself too. Thank You.

I've never actually attempting manipulating a photo myself. I'd be willing to help, but I'm fairly sure I'd screw something up one way or another, as I'm apt to do.
My best piece of advice would be to look up some tutorials on deviantART or maybe Google. :3

hmm that souns like a good idea, i looked on youtube for a few speed SAI works as well as some tutorials ...i think thats what there called. anywho thanks again for your time and great job with your art... actually i do have on emore question... how do you make the drawing with lines that you can paint on but the paint doesnt go over? I lines are still visible even if you paint right on top of them... how does this work?

Make a new layer and set it to multiply instead of normal.
