Did a thing to get used to Clip Studio Paint, turns out it's really cool and useful once you've learned it. Had a lot of fun learning it, as well as the tons of anatomy fixes I needed just to get this out.
Daisy's my pig girl who's hooked on sweets and pink things, and now she actually has a colour palette! I wanted to take a crack at it myself, and I like how it turned out.
Things I like:
- I think she's incredibly sweet looking and actually matches the look I was going for
- Took more time with the shading, came out nicer as a result
- Linework was way easier and looks more interesting thanks to Clip Studio
- Background is simple but effective
Things I don't like:
- May be overly sweet/obnoxious colour palette
- Shading is still fairly simple and she may look too shiny
- As much as I loved drawing her snoot, it just wouldn't go the way I wanted
- Static pose
Things I learned:
- An anthro should probably be able to touch their butt with their hand, otherwise their arm's too damn short
- Should take whole perspective of character into account while drawing; zoom out more
- Bows are fun to draw and I think they're cute
