This is an earlier shot I took of my Mojave & Panamint route. This is along the southern end of the railroad as the grade skirts around the edges of Searles Dry Lake in California. The view looks south and what would today be Trona, CA is just to the north. The ground textures are very basic and only make sense when in map/satelight view, as images from Google Earth were used. They're pretty much a guide and reference for when I start adding more detailed ground textures once the track is completed from Panamint Junction to Ballarat, CA.
