animation student here!
part of the reason it looks a little awk is that it looks like your facial features are sliding across the plane of the face, instead of the whole face turning.
decode-meg is right! where you want to pause and hold your motions is just as important as drawing the movement itself.
the shoulders jump right from pose to pose, a few extra frames to allow them to settle into that shrug would help! and some secondary motion in the hair and ears(?) would help make the whole thing look more alive! instead of just the face and shoulders moving and the rest being really static.
there's a good playlsit of short videos that go over each of the 12 principles of animation. it really helps to know what they're called to be able to break down actions into manageable chunks and incorporate them into your own work!!

ohh thank you! I did originally redo the face but it looked weird and I ended up giving it up I'm not sure why in retrospect
I agree that the shoulders needed a lot more I between frames :0
I'll definatly try to look @ them!
but like.. is there there..... anything to make the motion look smoother? like ofc inbetweens are always important, but when I do more (for example, the eyes) it looks prolonged and wonky, the movement looks hand drawn and not really natural idk
WELL I'm sure it's all practice brings perfect and I'm just impatient
