Vent art. Had this picture sitting around from some days ago so it was only a matter of doing little things to get it finished.
When I drew this I was oficially burn out, too much to do, too much stress to deal... but now I'm feeling weak, sick, unable to eat well. I'm fighting as much as I can to be able to walk and get back to the rutine again and enjoying life as I used to do, because my parents would hate to see me sad.
My dad always loved my art, I used to show him my SFW pictures, he always smiled and say "you do wonderful colors and characters with so much movement" he didn't know about art, but he enjoyed it lots. When I asked him "what if my art won't sell?" he said "don't worry about it, if it sells or not, just keep doing what you do and someone will come to buy something someday" and "sure there's always people who are so much better than you, but doesn't meant that what you do isn't beautiful, you just need to keep working". I'll never forget those words. He always inspired me to become a better person on everything.
It's ok to feel sad, it's ok to do vent art, let those feelings go... so they can convert into something better. Take care everyone. ILU all.

A wise man he was with a respectable viewpoint. If all you do is make art just to sell it, you will not be happy as it becomes a forced labor job then. Art should be a hobby you enjoy and love to do freely, even if you sometimes sell art or not at all. No artist is perfect either, all have their own unique ways.
Vent art is special. If you have artistic ability, then use it to dump your emotions into a piece of art for others to see. Words are limited, but pictures can be a story.
Take care though, hope things go well for you.

Lovely piece and I completely agree. We are told from such a young age that feeling sad or unhappy is foolish or unfair because people have it far worse then we could imagine. A smile cures it all they'd say. It is so one sided, we are human and with that comes more then just the positive side of it. We have to be able to express ourselves even if it may be uncomfortable for others. Well done, lovely work, many hugs.
