It's pretty fun/satisfying for me to take old art and complete it...While it will be a few years until i get to the actual graphic novel of this story i might draw up a few pages like this along the way...Raffa's reaction to the Terran base city...meeting Tia Fal.... the space station...etc....

This is so very tender. I'm loving this story. And hey it's well worth the wait. If it takes a few years, it takes a few years.

Planned story production is:

"Stealing Alyssa" - a bit of unconventional action/romance/sexy/etc - some old lite story to be noodled and posted while i work on the first serious story - no determined page length - shortish...:

"To Save The Fish From Drowning" approx 40 pgs - a warm-up, so to speak, to getting into the swing of producing finished pages at a reasonable rate (finished inked page every two or three days - colour is out of the question on all these projects it just takes too long). In a tech scenario sort like WWI, Cat and Dog nations are at war. Two teen cat girls who volunteered for their border town's militia are trying to evacuate any last stragglers from their village before it's going to flooded by the Dogs blowing-up a dam up river. They come across two teen dog boy POWs forgotten in a basement, basically left to die...drama ensues. (It's an anti-war story i wrote back when Bush invaded Iraq...but still current to today's conflicts...children in a war zone...)

"Emma and Ash" (working title) (my little magnum opus)...originally planned at brief 72 pgs (6 chapters of 12 pgs) for dead-tree comic book pub, now, since i'll be doing it they way i think it should be done, it's likely to run at least 6 chapters of 30 pages at least...let's say a bit over 200 pages...so two years at least. Action/2nd chance for a failed romance?/etc - set during a sort of colonial steam-punk time...

Willa, Miss Billishire, Lord Tad story (not even a working title, i'm so lazy) - a break from all the serious stuff - medieval-like period - a comedic, possibly x-rated sex-farce with some drama - inspired by Oscar Wilde, Black Adder, etc - maybe 120 pgs ( i haven't nailed down all the plot sidelines yet, nor do i intend to until i get to it - got to have creativity left when i get to it, not just filling in old story - the main story, yep, all written - but some side character stuff be fun...)

And then - 3 1/2 years from now, - i get to choose between a couple dozen other stories to do next.

i'm leaning towards the Raffa&Vincent/Tia Fal&Jonathan story as it rounds out the big SF arch about the past and future of these interrelated worlds in which these stories take place....

but there is also the story of Azha&Hanssie, Tiv&Hanner, "Trio" (Dorrie, Amy,&Tim), Zellinia&Bard, etc etc...dozens of these stories of characters that have come to over the last two decades that i've drawn a couple dozen of pages of penciled ruff scenarios for each, many many characters with complete stories i haven't posted here yet...

That's a LOT of story in the works! Well I know I'll enjoy each one; I really enjoy your approach to visual storytelling.

Raffa is so out-of-it that she doesn't remembering having these bouts of fever for the last few days. Dehydrated, starving, and sleep deprived (can't really sleep with a bunch of metal spike/knives sunk in your ankle, infection spreading, and afraid the trapper is going to show-up any minute and kill you....).

They meet during a crisis - there are fun, adventurous, romantic times later...and then another crisis when they are separated...

even better with the backstory, it's a sweet piece~
