In The Beginning, there was no strife., no conflict. Infinite possibilities opened along the path and the world seemed naught else but a bright place of love and endless hope. New things were born each day.

But this is not the beginning. That time has come and, truly, has gone. The leaves have darkened and the zephyrs which carried hope now burden themselves with laboring along the scents of decay and despair. Hope is not dead but it is fair to say it is dying.

No, this no longer the beginning. The time has come instead for the close, and He is The End.

I don't hesitate to say that in my search, there were only so many artists I saw that I thought could encapsulate End in an image that really encapsulated how I originally envisioned. Sonatine was my first pic and I am absolutely ecstatic with these results. Cannot state enough how happy I am. He was basically just a concept before and now he's the harbinger of the end times. What a lovely process!
