This is the world of Vinyl, an idyllic planet full of magic and inflatable toys! I'll be using this map as a reference for version 0.1.0 of my Toy RPG, set to come out in one to four months maybe. The world should feel pretty big, I hope! 0.1.0 will actually only have Softwind and the surrounding area, but I want there to be at least a couple hours of content with that alone. Anyway, tell me what you think and if you have any ideas I'd love to hear them in the comments or as a note!

Actually, overinflation increases strength but also reduces speed. Being regular-sized balances your strength and defense and speed, because speed is a really important stat in my system. Honestly I can't say how much the effects will scale because I have to balance everything, but I'm thinking something like:
Max size: 2xStr, 0.5xDef, .75xSpd
Base size: 1xSpd, 1xStr, 1xDef
Min size: 2xDef, .5xStr, .75xSpd
Max size: 2xStr, 0.5xDef, .75xSpd
Base size: 1xSpd, 1xStr, 1xDef
Min size: 2xDef, .5xStr, .75xSpd
I would say one thing I would tweak is have some penalty against certain tactics:
Max: more vulnerable to popping by claws or over inflation
Base Size: Easiest to change to/from this state
Min: more vulnerable to complete deflation or pinning down
Something like that. I would say one thing I would say is the longer you are at a certain state, the more your stats should adjust to your playstyle, like if you stayed over inflated, your defense would increase over time, or under deflated your strength would increase over time as your body adjusts to that state. Could be something that both styles could benefit from, without affecting the speed.

Uhh... I'm not sure I follow. Aside from spells for more powerful inflation/deflation effects, why would a player use anything but the incredibly simply one-button inflate or deflate? "Variety" doesn't cut it. If it's not worth it, people won't use it and the novelty will wear off fast.
I'm not saying "make more buttons". I'm saying something more like, "Say one of these things when you press the button".
For example: A button that creates a car when you press it.
"You made a car!" every time would be boring. Perhaps, it could be like "You made a car!" "A car was created!" "Ooh, a snazzy car appeared!" "Is that a Ferrari?"
So one button, random text.

You're fine (though I don't think it's lopsided at all, beyond the fact that it's a continent and not a geometric shape), but I really wasn't going for a perfectly proportioned map--I just needed something to see what my world was going to actually be like so I can start really making it in the game.
