The Aden is a heavy gunship that is supposed to hunt down light units at long ranges and destroy them a long time begore they can return fire. Armed with two LRM-5 racks loaded with thunder-LRMs and standard warheads, it can cause severe damage to many light 'Mechs, vehicles, and battle armor before finishing them off with a blast from the PPC mounted on the left side. At a weight of 25 tons, it may move up to 130 kph, which doesn't make it the fastest VTOL around, however over 3 tons of ferro-fibrous armor protect it from many weapons on the battlefield of the 31st century.
