What excuse could Ritchy come up with to get out of this mess? Maybe those blue speed signs should be a bit more frequent...

It's ok then. I'm guessing this is gonna be a novel-type thing?
I was actually gonna write a war novel before I decided on a webcomic. I was gonna call it "fractured land". It's a story of how Thailand broke into 3 countires: East, under communism, West, under the monarchy and Thaksin as PM, and south under an islamic millitary junta. Got the idea from how Thailand was really bordering on social unrest.

I like books like that, kind of historical, kind of political and a bit of action thrown in as well. My kinda read.
Yeah, It's meant to be a novel in three parts, called the Dead Years. A rough outline is:
In 2015, an outbreak of the undead occurs for no obvious reason (the reason is discovered later on in part three) in Aspen, Colorado. As the American military try to contain the outbreak, they get overpowered and they quickly overflow into the rest of the states. The story follows about 10 groups of survivors, including an average 4.5 piece family from Yonkers, New York, a mafia crime family from the Bronx, A news reporter from texas and her news crew and a wedding party of ten people who were stranded after their evacuation went wrong in New Jersey. These groups of survivors as well as others are all trying to make it to this last settlement in New York, where the remaining Government has arranged a mass emergency evac from america to europe. But along the way, dark secrets are revealed, yadda yadda yadda.
And thats just the first part! XD

Oooh! Sounds intersting! A rag-tag group of surviors will cause conflict.
What was gonna be epic about my story is that it's the first ever war WMDs are used on a large scale. Biological, radiological, chemical and nuclear weapons were used by all 3 sides. After the initial "war of separation", the total civillian death toll was at 21 million and large parts of Thailand remained poisoned and uninhabitable. Then the second "Thai war" happens and a furthur 26 million are killed. By the end, only 7 million Thais are left alive and all three nations are completely poisoned.

I take great relief in knowing I'm not the only one who does that. It's seriously annoying though! I have to work uber hard on a piece of work o keep going all the way through if i have more ideas in my head than just the one i'm working at. Thats why i chose to do the Dead Years, because there's so many different things that could happen in the story: I have horror, potential for romance (i have a gay character in it too ), potential for a side story with the mafia family, backstories, war stories, family drama, it's just finally something i can keep working on AND have ideas for separate things at the same time!
Whoo!
