AC08 - Tapewolf Commission Final
Commissioned by Tapewolf at AC 2008. :) In previous posts, I've stated the character's name as "Tapewolf", but his ACTUAL name is "Dorcan". Just to get the record straight. :)
I never realized how rusty I was with markers 'til it came time to work on this one. o_o Took me twice as long to get it colored as I thought it would.
Overall, though, I hope he likes how it came out. :)
Dorcan is property of Tapewolf.

I really don't know what to say... he came out looking fantastic. The colour work in particular - it looks better than a lot of the traditional colouring I've seen recently.
If there is anything out-of-place, it's that the head-wings came out looking a bit like horns, but that's nitpicking.
If anyone is interested, Dorcan appears in this comic:
http://www.project-future.org/strip.php?strip=50
...starting from page 50. It actually begins with his death, but that won't prevent him from becoming a regular character.
Pegasus' picture was one of several I commissioned of the guy, at Anthrocon and elsewhere, but I think it's one of the best. The line-art really helped us get a good idea of what he should look like when he appeared... it's an interesting coincidence that the commission's completion more-or-less coincided with his debut in the strip.
Anyway, thanks again for the artwork, it really is lovely.
