Well he knows how to make a great heroic pic, and is a swell guy overall. I wanted to make a genuine statement about how Varanis would be in regards to defending his friends, so this was beyond perfect. Now get your floaty noodles over here and stand behind me. Don't want any blood to spatter on those new duds of yours.
Interestingly enough, there is an Iron Savior song with the same name... though I think that song is about a conqueror rather than a hero, so maybe not appropriate for big green here?
