“Go on,” he sneered at me, holding his arms open, “If you have some sort of amazing strength, show it to me, ‘O Chosen One.’”
It seemed as if no matter how many times I tried to hit him, he disappeared. He was in too many places at once. If that was the case then I’d have to make it so that wherever he would go, he would get hit.
I swung my blade, the arcing energy that shot through it stopping short in front of my body. I held the energy with my own psionic powers, sending it hovering behind me before swinging my sword again. I held the wave again, sending it behind me. I swung again. And again. And again. The energy accumulated behind me began to shift and transform. They all shone behind me, illuminating the battlefield.
The expression of the hideous combination between canine and serpent began to shift. He looked confused at first, before he began to realize his demise.
This attack would finish him. As I rose my blade, I could not help but to recall what Cobra had dubbed this attack.
“It works if you say the name,” he would say, “It’ll boost its power!”
I thought it was silly. I thought that it only served as a means of alerting the enemy. And yet, as the blades began to fly in a myriad of dirctions, I found myself muttering the words, my gaze poised on the fear in the serpent’s eyes.
“Trillion Blades.”
