Being a citizen of a world rife with magic, Borom still somehow manages to encounter surprises each and every day. A clear example is depicted above, in which he wandered into an out-of-the-way village and found a shop therein selling a wizard's robes and spellbook, with a guarantee that "it would expand your knowledge." Being one that lusts after learning, the sentient Baloth bought the book and robe.

Back at his home cave, he donned the clothing and immediately experienced a change. His normally-zoomorphic (dubbed "feral" by the humans) stature shifted to an upright, anthropomorphic one instead. Unsure of this change, he began to read the book to discover what sort of expansion it truly induced.

His belly growing bigger as well as his butt, Borom felt himself feeling a sort of reluctant pleasure, as this would likely prove problematic for his mobility soon. It didn't help that the to-the-knees robe now only reached to his waist. It was getting short by the second, unable to contain his growing belly....
