C1-F1R (aka Fire) is a stock C1 Astromech Droid that saw use assigned to the Venator Class Star Destroyer Pride of Shin'Ju during the Clone Wars. The droid got it's nickname due to two reasons, first, his colors and second, his personality, which was rather hot tempered at times. A biological virus broke out aboard the Pride of Shin'Ju during the Outer Rim Sieges, killing 98% of the biological crew and forcing the evacuation of the star destroyer. The 2 percent that survived the virus loaded all they could into gunships (including droids and weapons) and made way to a nearby uncharted world after setting the capital ships self destruct. eventually on the planet, the rest of the crew succumbed to the virus, leaving only the droids on this world. Over time, the droids created a community of their own, having gone without memory wipes for decades until found by a rebel scouting force a month after the Battle of Hoth. C1-F1R and the other droids are now part of the Rebel Alliance droid pool.
