Oh wow! I can really feel the emotions in this picture. The vertical lines you've added to this I feel suggest a strong kind of weight that is pushing the character down. That's so clever! The arching back seems to add to this. Also I really like the hat+sharp beak combination. I really love pictures that convey strong emotions and you have really succeeded here! =D
In the same way of my dragons sketches, these are very refreshing and really helps me to be free of certaings thoughts and feelings that sometimes blocks me (in a personal and in artistic way). Is like writting the shopping list, when you write it you stop thinking in all those stuff that you have to buy.
