Cellu-clay is nice and light, and if I can get the new idea working for their construction, it may ell end up being even lighter. My only beefs with it are that it cracks if the project is moved too much and it takes forever to dry- I had to bake the heads in the oven at about 190F for hours... Glueing fabric on it is dead simple, or you could paint it, instead, if you can manage to get a smoother surface. Mine was all rough because I was in an all-fired hurry to get them wearable for FC. If I'd had the time, they would have been sanded with my Dremel tool to smooth out the bumps and lumps and bring up some of the finer details.
