On another topic, the thing of tearing off the sign reminds me of some of the people at the arcade where I used to work. These people seemed to believe that pulling the tape or "out of order" sign off a machine would magically fix it. And then complain loudly that it ate their tokens. Or just punch a hole through the duct tape with their token to force it into the machine. I still have trouble imagining what goes on inside the mind of someone who actually utters the phrase, "Well, I saw the tape covering the coin slot, but then I saw the hole in the tape so I thought it worked now."
