‘Hal screamed when the inputs failed and instead the Wildcat lowered its head and rammed its immense shoulders against the side of the building. Floors collapsed, old concrete and cheap plaster rained down around them as the tank ploughed onward, crushing anything between it and its target as it went. A shrug and the roof caved in. […] Then a gap in the dust and debris and the Wildcat was pulling itself from the rubble. The blip on the radar was closer than ever and when the Wildcat looked up they both saw the tiny figure on the rooftop. The Metal Gear reared up and bellowed…’
Is… is it done? Can I rest study now? Maybe? Possibly?
Some of you may remember the original from two years ago. I’ve been redoing it for a presentation/project/thing that's been eating up my time TTATT was it worth it? I'm not sure.

Is Wildcat able to pull off jumps like 'the last Guardian'? I'd say Wildcat is 70% taller than Nakaba, and very much tankier. To fight someone so big, Nakaba would have to solidify his surrounding and knock it out against the re-enforced metal buildings. Just so he wouldn't die but able to be taken down XD. Nakaba has ailen alloy bracelet and cuff that solidify any part of him or anything he touches. It is God's armor for Nakaba!
Yes! Though you'd want a much more stable landing platform than what Trico can manage. Metal Gear in canon vary quite a bit in terms of their physical prowess, but going by the more agile ones, yes, the Wildcat would be able to jump quite impressively. Admittedly the production line model that was intended to take over from the grey prototype would be slightly faster and have a longer/higher jump.
The Wildcat ended up with a large Zoid component when I was coming up with it, though I tried to reel it in in later designs to match the MGS world it's supposed to inhabit, but despite its quadruped design in terms of movement it's probably closest to Sahelanthropus for agility. A lot of its movement can still be seen in it's original inspiration: the Lightning Saix, but it's not as fast as the Zoid.

*bracelet and necklace is magical alien alloy.
I really like Wildcat's design and take note to your inspiration!
Compared to Nakaba's permanent 37ft size it would seem like Wildcat is still a colossus to Nakaba who is giant! If you have ever drawn a semi truck next to Wildcat, this is Nakaba's approximate size!
I think for his size, Trico is actually light because he is part bird peep!

My inspiration for monster Sergal is anime like Escaflowne. I've always been a fan of sword fighting mecha and realistic mecha like Gasaraki or Armored Trooper Votoms. I don't know if a Shinden Tactical Armor or a Scopedog Combat Frame can stand a chance against Wildcat's huge swatting paws.

I see Wildcat's cannon and I imagine the best cannons sound like star wars heavy lazer artillery. PEW PEW PEW~
It would be cool to travel with Wildcat, but where does he sleep? A aircraft carrier? A football field?

Yeah I think the Wildcat is... about 50-60ft?
Back when I first worked it out there wasn't an official Metal Gear sizechart, so I ended up adding about 10 meters to the heights of all of them and most of the older artwork reflects this--not to mention the original version of this painting, I completely messed up the background, and made the Wildcat MASSIVELY too big, and I don't think I fixed it as well as I'd hoped in the new verson.
My Super Old Chart
Official Metal Gear/Arsenal Gear Chart--sans Sahelanthropus (the dates are the dates the games were released, not the date the Metal Gear was created in canon).
I really need to check out some of these shows, I've loved what I've seen by Sunrise previously.
They probably wouldn't come out too well, it is entirely possible to take down a Metal Gear without another Metal Gear (MGS has a very David and Goliath thing going on), but in the same way that technically you don't need a tank to take on another tank, but it would probably help, or at least be preferable to just running around by it's feet. But that said, they're not the biggest giant mechs around.
The Wildcat has a place in the big company 'garages', or the hangars if it's managed to get itself damaged. An aircraft carrier (or similar) may be in its future though.

If there was any mech Nakaba would need Wildcat's help agains it's this! Nakaba can probably lift that light tank over his head, and bench press it.
Big company garages eh? At least Nakaba has a large space to visit Wildcat! Lets hope the kitchen is aweful big, or Nakaba's size at least! I imagine Nakaba's hangout is in converted underground parking garage. He would ask for a custom made gaming console and PC. XD
Dang, Nakaba can at least have his house with custom or converted garage space. Maybe if they were a part of scociety there could be shelters for monster Sergals. I was also thinking Talyxians can have a lane to run fast down the street, Like a bike lane.
I always imagined Nakaba somehow using his 105mm sniper as off shore artillery to fight mechs from the deck of a ship. Maybe Wildcat can do the same from an aircraft carrier! It would be cool to see Wildcat as ship cannon!
