I took this one at the same time as "Standing Tall" in the same location, this time facing south. This is the next tower in line, which stood about 200 feet away. The disparity in the two photos should give you an idea of the odd fog conditions that day. It was a very unique experience.

This one had me a wee bit annoyed when I processed the RAW file, if I boosted the exposure compensation enough to see the tower, you get the grain that's visible in the fog. I like how it turned out overall, though, I'm planning to return to the same spot next time we have some fog, and see if I can add a few to the set.
Thanks, I rather liked how this one came out. It was more a function of luck than any great skill on my part, the fog density was changing VERY rapidly. Within a minute's time it would range from totally visible, to entirely shrouded in fog to the point where it was invisible, then return. I simply took a large number of photos, and chose the one with the visibility that I liked.
I've been watching your comic for a number of years, and I'd say that your skill far exceeds mine. lol

They're really something interesting. At this particular location, you could hear the 60Hz hum from the lines overhead. That's a LOT of juice right there!
The fog was really cool for this one, the semi-visible nature makes it feel almost like some kind of monster out of an old B-grade film. :)
