This is a test piece I made for the work I'll be doing over the summer for my internship. It will be the second book in a series and this is the main character, named Jelly Beans.

I accidentally made him too old in this piece, but I have a better understanding of him now. This will be the only piece I will be able to post about him and the book, too. Once the book is published I'll make sure to let it be known to you guys!

I had a shaded version of this, but the book may be flat colored (besides the backgrounds) since the first book is that way. We still have to talk about it to see what will happen. I honestly was very soso on the shaded look anyways, but I am happy with that background!

I showed the initial version to the author and she wanted me to take off the fur parts over the jelly bean pattern as well as change up the color a little bit. Those were both very easy to do.

Also it sounds like she'll employ me after the internship as well! So I have a job already after school is over! Yay!
