This picture reveals enough information to identify the exact species of both birds. Can you recognize them?
This ideas struck me as interesting because the plumage seems to be the most visible trait of birds of this family and it has characteristic colors for each species. So if I want to paint an anthro version of one of these birds it seems obvious that it should be painted using the original bird's color, else I would be omitting the most important trait of the species...
Yet it is not the most important trait at close-up range. It is possible to make the species identifiable with 100% accuracy without even showing a feather. Only people who know well the family can recognize it, but the silhouettes and the face masks should be enough for most people to identify at least the kind of bird and make sense of the scene. So I tried to show the very minimum information required to identify them. Maybe the color is not necessary, but the face masks alone could be ambiguous, and I think some color is needed to show at least a hint of the beauty of the original bird.

I think it might be a scarlet macaw. Green wings aren't a natural bird they are a mix of scarlet and I believe military. I think anyway. But I can't remember. I work in a pet store and my specialty is birds so I know quite a bit ^^ Hyacinth's are frigging huge...I saw one tear a work leather boot apart like Paper!
It's actually a green winged. The scarlet macaw is very very similar, but the facial mask has a pink skin instead of white:
