Oh, wow.. it is odd to see a comment on this, two years after posting it. o_o; Thank you though.. he was a good guy. It's been...god, six years now? since I lost him, and I still think of him. Heh.
As to the name.. I do believe he borrowed it from the Rourouni Kenshin anime series, as I do recall there being a character of that name in there somewhere.

Yes indeed, Soujiro Seta would be the character you think of. Actually the same place I got the idea for my own name. And you're welcome. I found this in Search and just had to say something.

That's right! I knew it was spelled differently or something. That was a good series, though we never liked it quite as much as the original Samurai X.

Aaah.. good luck with leaving/not leaving. I've learned to avoid the parts of the fandom I find undesirable, generally keep to myself, and enjoy the cool people I do meet. :} Life is full of things that will upset you, no matter what social groups you find yourself a part of. I think the trick is to take the good with the bad, discard the bad, and keep on truckin'. ;}
