---The nightmares came back today...
The details are still lost on me, how I got to the place where I might have been...whether this place held details. Was I home? Was I even still on my home planet? All I know was that there was something burning inside me...not like an outward pain, but something deeper than that, a darkness, a fiery emotion. Was this anger? Was this hatred? Was it spurred by a panic of some sort? The details were just so hazy. But, the way way I growled suggested that there was a fight...just to be so animal, so feral in the moment...I felt like I (personally) was in some sort of danger. Fight-or-flight had washed over me, and, as a bared my fangs...it was time to stand my ground. I could feel it, in my gut...whatever it was that had threatened me....only one of us was getting out of this situation alive.
I reported this nightmare to the Elders. They have scheduled a cleansing ritual for me later in the afternoon.
I really love how this came out and it was done so fast! Masika is still new grounds for me when it comes to her character, and so it's interesting to see how different people portray her. Still, this is so lovely and so amazing, and one of my favorite pieces of Masika thus far.
