Dinner in the Park - Chapter 1 - Part 1 (Vore)
The following commission was placed in a series of artists' hands over the last several months, all of whom either chickened out at how many panels there were (forty-one!) or gave some other excuse to get out of doing it. It happened so frequently, I was beginning to despair that I wouldn't have this idea realized.
But then, someone directed me to the amazing
WeWo, who was more than accommodating to me and, despite the amount of work this commission would take, showed that he was more than up to the challenge and would not chicken out. I thank him greatly for months of work and am glad that, after all of this time, I can finally share this with all of you!
This eight-part commission stars my Keepers deuteragonist, Jobe, and Antonio Dominguez, the villain from
da-parrot-masta's "The Date." Antonio has left our world and now come to the Keepers' world, Aterea, to start over. But that doesn't mean that he hasn't stopped doing what he likes doing best.
Preying on innocent fellow humans. . . .
Jobe was thankful to have a break from his classes at the Burg Academy for Training Talented Youth. He had two hours to himself before his next class, so he wanted to take some time to himself. He decided to spend some of that time with a nice walk through Cimmeria Park.
The young man, who was the Prince of Aterea, as well as the Keeper of Light, one of the world's eight defenders, was glad to have no major crises going on at the moment. Feeling safe enough, he had left his trusty flute, his handy weapon, behind, in a locker back at the academy. Now he walked through the park, suspecting nothing, enjoying the nice, sunny day. It was currently the late afternoon, but the early evening would be approaching soon, which meant that it would be time for dinner soon, and he was looking forward to what his boyfriend, Storm, would be cooking for him when he got home.
But Jobe wasn't the only one thinking about dinner right now. Unbeknownst to him, someone was watching him from behind a tree in the park, seeing his every move and watching him approach his position. It was a tall, olive-skinned man who was extremely heavy-set. He had a large belly, exposed largely due to the fact that he was dressed like a beach bum, wearing an open, off-white, short-sleeved shirt and blue pants, as well as dark tennis shoes. He had grayish-colored hair and a small, white fedora on his head.
The man's name was Antonio Dominguez, and he was very much an off-world visitor to Aterea. He had come from a version of the world of Earth to start a new life in a new world. This was largely because he was under too much suspicion of the disappearances of many young men back on Earth. As it turned out, he had been responsible for those disappearances, but it was unknown to authorities how he'd made them disappear.
But Antonio himself knew, and as Jobe approached and passed the tree behind which he was hiding, that reason became clear.
The large man watched Jobe pass by . . . and licked his lips in a way that almost looked . . . hungry. Famished. Starving.
That was because he was hungry. Antonio had pursued several young men back on Earth, and he had made meals of every single one of them. Some he had tricked into his clutches using his Latin charm to romance them, even those who were not gay like he was. Others he had lured into his clutches under the pretense of needing help from them with something, like housesitting or petsitting. But there were some he'd aggressively hunted like a wild predator hunting for prey, kidnapping them and hauling them off to his home or other private places for his meals.
Jobe was about to be one such victim.
Jobe passed by Antonio, and the large man decided that the young, dark-skinned man looked so good, so tasty, that he would be the perfect one to sate his appetite. He ran out from behind the tree and pounced, his arms raised to grab him.
Which he did seconds later. He landed right behind Jobe and grabbed him around his arms from behind. In surprise, Jobe looked up at him in shock, completely caught by surprise.
And in a very happy, almost jovial manner, Antonio looked down at his prey and said, "Hey there, dinner."
