It looks interesting, but I do have a question: Did you go to art scool, or were you self-taught?

I'm self-taught and still learning, though of course I had a lot of resources (good and bad). Art books, tutorials online, artists to ask advice, and my mom helped out too as she used to do art as well.
I don't personally count high school art class, as I didn't learn very much there and usually just did my own thing rather then class work.

How do you keep your pressure to remain consistently smooth like that? Making lines look decent is something I'm having difficulty with

I don't, I use sensitivity so my lines will change width as I make a line.

But lowering the sensitivity of your brush will make it so the change is less drastic.

Just curious, are you using Clip Studio Paint and/or Manga Studio (I still don't know the difference between those two, haha)? I have CSP and I'm just wondering how you changed the color of the interface. Mine is white and is a little rough on the eyes, and I couldn't find the setting to change it to the gray you have here in the screenshot.

I'm not sure of the difference, but I believe Clip studio has less things, so it's cheaper. (I think it just takes out the comic tools? So you don't need it anyways if you don't do comics).

File - Preferences - Interface - Chose dark or light, then you can adjust it with a bar beside it.
But if you didn't find it, it could be your version doesn't have that.

I'd like to do comics, so I would like to get those comic tools someday. Still CSP has a lot if the same features such as line, shape, and text tools so it's still def possible if a little harder.

And yay, it did have the option! I was looking under View and Window- didn't occur to me to look under File. Thanks a bunch!

Also IDK if you've already heard of this brush pack or have it, but you might like this set from Frenden- works for CSP or Manga Studio, Mac or PC. I just got it recently and I gotta say I love it- especially the inking brushes.

Yup, I've bought all of frendens brushes. I don't use them very much, but lately I've been using the marker and harder version of the marker.
